Right time eating beneficial for health
The right timing also plays an
important role in our eating habits. When we eat at the right times in our
24-hour daily life, our sleep hours, our hormones and our physiological
structure that affect our metabolism are getting better in parallel, and it
benefits our body in terms of health.
According to research, when we
eat during the day compared to the evening hours, our body works much better
and it is easier to maintain the form of our metabolism. It is a fact that many
people have the habit of eating in the evening and snacking before going to bed
at night. But eating at the right time helps us maintain our weight, hormone
balance, blood sugar, cholesterol levels and sleep patterns.
Recent research on the timing of
eating yielded important findings related to human health. Half of the
participants consumed more calorie foods during the daytime, while the other
half consumed more calorie products after sunset. However, all of the
participants in the study received the same calories in total.
According to the results of the
12-week study, it was seen that the group that took more calories at breakfast
was much healthier in terms of body values. For example, those who ate more
food at breakfast lost almost twice as much weight as those who ate more at
dinner. Significant differences were observed especially in cholesterol and
triglyceride levels.
The blood sugar rate of the group
eating more at breakfast also remained at better levels throughout the day.
When all the results were evaluated, it was found that people who eat better
during the day and eat less in the evening had less health problems such as
diabetes, heart disease and metabolic syndrome (group of diseases in which
cardiovascular disease risk factor is clustered). In addition, it was seen that
people who made good breakfast skipped less meals.
In a second study on the subject,
a special meal was prepared for the subjects. Some participants consumed this
special meal with the same calories during the day and some in the evening.
Accordingly, those who eat during the day had better results in their bodies on
a number of issues related to blood sugar and metabolism compared to those who
ate in the evening.
Sleep day and night
Another issue that eating during
the day positively affects is the sleep pattern. Research shows that those who
eat during the day have a better sleep pattern as well as easier sleep and tend
to sleep at night. It is also among the results of the research that people who
have regular sleeping hours are happier, healthier and calmer people.
A different application was
applied in the research. Some subjects were asked to have their breakfast 90
minutes late and to eat dinner 90 minutes earlier than normal time. The fat
loss in their bodies was twice as high as in previous eating habits. Although
all these studies show that it is healthier to eat during the daytime, 57
percent of the respondents said that it is not practical to eat only at certain
hours in the long term.
Of course, all these researches
and results can vary according to the age, past life and habits of the person.
Changing some habits in everyday life is not as easy as it seems. However, no
matter what your family life is with your business life, it has been medically
proven that eating tight at breakfast and lunch, consuming low-calorie products
in the evening and at night are health benefits.
